The story revolves around two parallel stories, one being a love triangle and the other being a child custody battle. As soon as the two stories start to intertwine and become interlinked, the show starts to evolve and is presented through a series of events.
The show centers on several crucial events that take place in the life of Ashok Kashyap, an ambitious and intelligent police officer. His wife Megha and daughter Ira have just been murdered by an unknown assailant. This incident has created a sense of paranoia in Ashok as well as his officers. Ashok suspects that they are being stalked by a dangerous criminal who is out for his revenge. He even captures and tortures a "professional" stalker, whose demeanor and psyche suggest that he was an assassin in the past. The man turned out to be nothing but a vigilante.
